Our "theme" for the issue is pre-1900 Diplomacy variants, but that shouldn't stop you from considering something else. And it isn't like you're out of time; the deadline isn't until July 1st! Some of the typical topics you might consider:
Strategy and tactics for Diplomacy or a variant. This could be looking at the game as a whole, or one particular nation.
An article on why a particular variant is your favorite, or why a generally popular one falls flat in your opinion.
A historical article, explaining the true situation behind the setting of a Diplomacy variant.
A humorous article; maybe applying Diplomacy skills to real life, or anything else.
Poetry, cartoons, drawings, puzzles.
A report on a face-to-face event you recently attended, or your favorite (or least favorite) FTF memory.
Ideas to make the game, or the hobby, or any particular aspect of either, better.
A response to an article you read in the last few issues (and if you HAVEN'T read them, go do so at http://www.diplomacyworld.net).
