Maybe one of the systems hasn't been upgraded quite yet. I'm not sure the exact process these things undergo. But, in the sign up list it shows that I have played 14 games while under Player Rankings, I have played 15. Is this an error?

Player Rankings are only updated at midnight and the 2 systems use different criteria to calculate the numbers.

You should be able to verify by pulling up the history by year and search for your name. Let me know if you feel there is a miscount somewhere.

There are at least 2 games that influence the counts. 2006-48 where you were a replacement player and 2008-23 which was an invitational game.

The others I believe are 9-20,9-22,9-23,9-24,9-37,8-22,8-27,8-38,7-38,7-19,7-20,7-7,6-38,6-18

Thank you. I was going to count my games to check after some school work. I only noticed the difference because, me being young and competitive, I was looking for the explanation of the "politician," "envoy," "field marshal," etc. that I had seen at one point.

I, personally, have not run across an error while playing on this site, so I expected it was me misunderstanding which games the two different systems counted.

No worries, mistakes do happen but I try and correct them quickly.

The new rating system, DIPS, is in the process of being automated too. WilliamWindham manually calculates that at the moment and that is what generates the ranks.
